Fabric requirements for the Union Jack mini quilt:
4” red fabric strip, 42” (112cm) wide for centre cross
5 different 6” by 42” assorted fabric strips (15cm x 112cm)
1 FQ for backing
Batting piece at least 12” x 20”
10” (25cm) fabric for binding
Piecing thread and Quilting thread for hand or machine
Optional: Template plastic
