Tilda Northern Lights Quilt Pattern: The finished quilt size is 62” by 80” (158cm by 203cm)  
This is a medallion quilt, meaning it is worked around the centre, round by round. Rather than row by row.
 
Material requirements:
* 2¼yds (2m) of assorted red, pink and blue fabrics – use at least 6 different prints for a scrappy look.
* 2¼yds (2m) assorted white prints or tonal blenders
* 10” (25cm) blue/white stripes for border #1
* 24” (60cm) stripes or checks for border #5
* 24” (60cm) stripes or checks (blue/white) border #8
* 24” (60cm) stripes (red/white) for border #11
* 24” (60cm) stripes or checks for binding
* 3¾yds (3.6m) Backing fabric for horizontal joining seam Or 5yds (4.5m) for vertical joining seam if directional
*Batting, piecing and quilting thread
Plus the usual handy quilting tools: quilt mat, ruler & rotary cutter.
