However, this pattern can easily be adapted to various other themes such as Halloween, a child's "I Spy" quilt, florals, and more.
 
Material requirements:
2yds (1.9m) assorted feature fabrics for main squares 
32” (80cm) ice blue fabric for border squares
1yd (90cm) assorted darker corner fabrics green, red, aqua 
1yd (90cm) assorted lighter corner fabrics or white
20” (50cm) binding fabric
Backing fabric to fit finished size
Batting to fit finished size
100% cotton piecing thread
Cotton quilting thread for machine or hand
The usual quilt tools; rule, mat and rotary cutter
Optional: 5” square up ruler
