Fabric requirements:
24” (60cm) total of assorted fabrics or fabric scraps
7” (20cm) linen, corduroy, denim or similar stronger fabric for base
22” (55cm) fabric for lining (42” wide)
22” (55cm) Batting Thermolam 272 by Vilene *)
22” (55cm) S320 fusible stiff interfacing by Vilene 
Short leather or synthetic leather bag handles
Perlé cotton number #8 for stitching handles
Sewing and quilting thread
*) Vilene in Europe is the equivalent to Pellon in USA
 
Other requirements:
A walking or even feed foot on the sewing machine is very handy for this sewing project, and the usual cutting & measuring tools.
