This is a great scarp fabric buster project, use your favourite fabrics, whatever the style.
 
Below are the total fabric requirements from 42”/ 110cm wide fabric:
4½ yds (4.2m) assorted light background fabrics
1¾yds (1.5m) total of 14 different colours of assorted prints
24” (60cm) fabric for double binding
Backing fabric to fit size
Batting to fit size + 8” extra
3/4yds fabric for binding 
Piecing thread
Quilting Thread for hand or machine
Plus the usual handy tools: quilt mat, ruler & rotary cutter.
Optional: Border to make the quilt larger.
