Court House steps is a traditional Log Cabin quilt block variation, it's a simple yet stunning design.
* The instructions are for machine sewing.
* Material requirements: Narrow quilt cotton fabric strips and sewing thread. Great for using scrap fabrics!
* Flat ¼” quilting foot is essential for this pattern, not one with guides, just the basic flat foot.
* You will need a printer to print out foundation papers. Alternatively trace the shapes onto foundation fabric such as quilters’ calico or cotton lawn.* You will also need the usual quilting tools: cutting mat, quilt rule and rotary cutter.
Please note that this is not a pattern for a whole quilt project, but a quilt block pattern including templates & instructions on how to make the Court House Steps block/s using the easy top stitching method.
