Chicken Patchwork Sewing Pattern: 3D Fabric Pyramid Shape Bird Tutorial (PDF)
Chicken Patchwork Sewing Pattern is a tutorial to make 3D fabric birds from Log Cabin quilt blocks.
This is a fun patchwork project with many uses:
* use as an egg warmer on the breakfast table
* use as a chicken pin cushion or table decoration by stuffing the shape
*use as a door stopper by stuffing the shape with rice or lizard litter for weight
* make Easter crafts, you can leave an opening in the bird's back seam to allow for Easter eggs to be hidden inside.
*or leave the felt pieces out and make a pyramid shaped item instead of a bird.
Finished size is approximately 6” (15cm).
Foundation piecing instructions are for machine sewing.
