This pattern was designed to be chain pieced. 
The instructions have been written for machine sewing.
 
Material requirements:
* 2½yds (2.25m) assorted prints or a Jelly Roll 
* 2½yds (2.25m) of assorted Moda Grunge or solid fabrics.
* 20” (55cm) binding fabric
* Backing fabric – the amount depends on the width of the fabric and how it will be quilted (longarm quilters will require an extra 4” (10cm) on each side)
 * Batting to cover the size + an extra 4” (10cm) on each side
* Piecing thread 100% cotton
* Quilting thread for hand or machine quilting.
* Optional: border fabric
* The usual quilting tools: cutting mat, rotary cutter and quilt ruler.
