Simple Cot Quilt Pattern
The finished size is: 35½” by 46” (90cm x 117cm)

This pattern is still within the beginner skill level, but please note that if you are an absolute beginner, then the smaller Liberty crib quilt would be easier to make, simply due to the smaller size.
The instructions are for machine sewing.

FQ = Fat Quarter, fabric piece 18” x 21” in size.
 
Fabric Requirements:
8 x FQs of Liberty Cotton Lawn fabrics (this is a minimum requirement!) For a scrappier look, choose ideally 16 fabrics.
12” (30cm) binding fabric
Batting to fit size
Piecing thread, and quilting thread for hand or machine
Backing fabric: 1½yds (1.3m) of 42” wide fabric.
You will also need the usual quilting tools: cutting mat, quilt rule and rotary cutter.
